La Mon Pavilion is a distinctive landscape feature designed for the 60 Nguyen Duc Canh residential complex in Hoang Mai District, Hanoi.
The taro leaf is a beautiful image that is both indigenous to the Red River Delta and characterized by a youthful, contemporary form that is well suited to landscape spaces. For this reason, the taro leaf became the design inspiration for the landmark pavilion within the landscape architecture of 60 Nguyen Duc Canh.
La Mon Pavilion not only creates an impressive focal point within the landscape, but also demonstrates the architect’s creativity in exploring the local values of the land and celebrating the thousand-year agricultural culture of the Red River Delta. It expresses these values through a contemporary design language, creating an impressive landscape space with a distinctive identity for a new residential community in the heart of the capital.
