Eden Landscape excellently surpassed competitors to gain the second prize of the international architectural concept design contest “The Hampton Pier” in Ho Tram, organized by Bien Sang Investment Co., Ltd (under Tanzanite International) of international 5-star luxury resort “Melia Ho Tram at The Hamptons.”
The project “The Hampton Pier” at Ho Tram coastal road was approved by the People’s Committee of Ba Ria – Vung Tau province and local departments and agencies, who supported the investor to to contribute to change and create a new environment and attract tourists to Ho Tram beach. The public space would be open to everyone for sea-seeing, photographing, jogging, hosting public events, tourism promotional events. The Hampton pier would be the iconic architecture of Ho Tram, becoming an attractive destination for tourists, increasing the beauty and the class of resorts in this area.
The Hamptons Ho Tram is the largest resort in Ho Tram, a new exciting destination of Ba Ria – Vung Tau. Therefore, Eden Landscape designed “The Hamptons Ho Tram” with the orientation of creating the unique landmark, the new tourist symbol of Ba Ria Vung Tau as well as the region. This place will become a destination for national and international events contributing to build the image of Vietnam in the eyes of international friends.
Eden Landscape designed “The Hampton Pier” Ho Tram inspired by the image of “Non la”, one of the typical symbols in Vietnam. Along with the traditional festival of Vietnamese releasing lanterns , the Hampton pier Ho Tram new road for dreams and passion of Vietnamese for more beautiful future.
Moreover, the concept also created enchanting islands where trees rise strongly in the midst of the stormy winds of the sea, creating a majestic landscape.
The structure of the observation tower was inspired by the technique of knitting conical cones when applying conical frame to form a spiral from the base of the tower to the top at the height of 15m above sea level to create an impressive beautiful observation tower rising up in the middle of the sea. The technique of knitting hats was also used to decorate the details of railings and flower trust on the sea viewing pier. On the surface of the pier were the conical blocks scattered on the sea surface, reminding of impressive images in lantern festivals.
Located in the center of the sea viewing pier was a square with large space suitable for sports activities, cultural and art events to promote tourism. The layout of the square was combination of different size of conical blocks to create relaxing spaces and interesting sightseeing points Trees and water playgrounds were also added to provide a more dynamic and ecological landscape.
Planting trees on the sea view bridge is a unique design solution. The selected plants that have the ability to grow well in the stormy environment not only help the bridge more ecological but also show the strong will of Vietnamese people and the nation’s dream of reaching out to the great sea.
